It also took them over an hour to make the announcement that the flight had been delayed. The screens just flashed “Boarding” for an hour (and they still are).<\/p>\n

Delays are fine. Complete and total lack of any communication whatsoever is not.<\/p>\n

Simply jumping on a microphone and saying “we’re experiencing a delay, we’ll have more information for you in half an hour” would be better. We seriously heard nothing for a whole hour after “Boarding” had started.<\/p>\n

Just a closed door.<\/p>\n
