Otherwise known as &#8220;just entered beta&#8221; :)<\/p>\n<p>As for when it&#8217;ll be GA, the answer is, as always &#8220;when it&#8217;s ready.&#8221; If you look at 5.0 &#8211; it went beta on 23rh March 2005 and declared production on 19th October.<\/p>\n<p>I would hope a similar timeframe for 5.1<\/p>\n<p>My advice would be to run out of cron today, and when you&#8217;re comfortable with deploying 5.1, use events in it.
