Just don’t buy any thing pretending to be an 8GB USB 2.0 Sony Micro Vaults..
A friend of mine was over there for a month and thought he’d found a bargain and brought two back. As soon as he hit problems he lent one to me and sure enough, lsusb reveals it to be a 32MB USB 1.0 stick! :-)
Oops – typo – it turned out to be a USB 1.1 stick..
